The very precious Wisteria Jacket in Indigo is crafted using the Indian artisanal process known as 'Bandhej'. Ladies sit together, tying little knots with their hands, laughing, chatting and transferring their love and dedication into the silk. The fabric is then dip dyed into Indigo blue and once dried, the silk is stretched and pulled from either end with the little tied knots all coming undone - Leaving the most stunning and intricate designs, also known as 'tie and dye.' This process takes months to create and is exclusive to Rajasthan. Hannah Artwear endeavors to preserve these fading artforms.
